      How is that calculated exactly, especially for big countries like Russia which span multiple time zones?

      In case of Cyprus it’s really bad, sun goes down at 4pm in winter.

      It’s pitch black when I go to work in the morning (even after being stuck in traffic for an hour) spend all of daylight under completely unnatural florescent lights and then go home in the dark again.

      So you have to use lights for two to four extra hours a day. I guess we gotta burn that sweet sweet mazut and pay all the fines for CO² emissions, so one of their businessman buddies can profit on the back of his compatriots.

      Isn’t this entire exercise intended to „save“ energy?!

      Our politicians are dumbasses.
