    1. Article:

MAGA Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is still one of the few GOP members to rebuke President Trump and his lies in any meaningful way.

Taylor Greene spoke freely in an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Thursday night.

“The president says there’s virtually no inflation, and that grocery prices are going down,” Collins asked the Georgia representative. “Do you agree with him on that?”

“No, I go to the grocery store myself. Grocery prices remain high. Energy prices are high. My electricity bills are higher here in Washington, D.C., at my apartment, and they’re also higher at my house in Rome, Georgia, higher than they were a year ago,” MTG said. “Affordability is a problem, and I’m a mom. My kids are 22, 26, and 28. That’s the generation I worry about the most, and they’re having a very hard time.”

One of the most unhinged people in all of Congress comes across as genuine, while the president—on the same evening—told Americans that he wanted to stop hearing about their affordability issue. While Trump tells bold-faced lies about the state of the economy, MTG is raising concerns about a future that her kids and their kids can afford.

“You’re not gonna convince [Americans] to go to the polls and vote by bailing out Argentina. And you’re not gonna convince them to go to the polls and vote by continuing to fund foreign wars and foreign countries and foreign causes,” Taylor Greene continued. “You’e gonna get them to go to the polls and vote when you show up to work and actually fix the problems that they face every single day.”

What exactly is MTG’s end goal as of late? Trust me, she can call out Trump everyday and I’d be happy. But why now? She was always defending Trump before but I’ve read a few stories here lately where she is calling him out.

    3. At this point, I don’t really care if she has an ulterior motive. I’m enjoying the daily articles of her calling out the Trump administration. Maybe her words will actually reach other MAGA diehards.

It’s a color scheme. Revenge is a dish best served to orange via green.

She is no more a hero than Mike Pence was. They BROUGHT this on. She wore a MAGA costume to the State of the Union and pushed every conspiracy theory out there to get elected in the backwater district she reps

Everyone’s asking „what is the endgame „, but it should be obvious – she’s hated by her own party, has been kicked out of committees left and right and her senate ambitions have been swatted down by colleagues.

She has to „prove“ to congressional republicans that she’s willing to „take one for the team“ by being the first maga star to jump ship openly and publicly.

She’s their canary. And it’s going well for her. It’s showing republicans that you can oppose Trump and still remain a rising star.

She’s been on shows shes never been invited on and has a serious spotlight on her right now with many liberals even embracing her.

This should signal to everyone where things are headed next year. If in six months we don’t have two more just like her, going on The View and CNN to bash Trump, I’d be *shocked*.

    7. BeautysBeast on

She wants to run for Senate. She knows she has to move to the center to do it. Trump told her NO and in typical female fashion, she said, „No? Watch me“ Nuetralizing Trumps influence just helps her get what she wants.

Look at how much free media attention she is getting. She is on platforms most Republicans can’t get on. She was on The View for God’s sake. She’s brilliant.

    8. Can anyone identify the moment where our previous timeline jumped to this new one where MJT actually started making some sense?

    9. Ok_Conversation9750 on

      1.  MTG wants to run for the senate, but was told no by trump and co., so she’s pissed.

      2. Since she knows MAGAS have abandoned her, she’s desperate to stay relevant.

      3. Notice the ages of her kids? They are about to get kicked off mommies tax-payer funded health insurance and will have to buy their own- via the ACA, without subsidies, therefore making it Uber expensive (and they will probably expect mommy dearest to cover the cost).

Don’t believe for one second that this piece of human excrement has had a come to Jesus moment!

    10. Melodic-Lingonberry7 on

Guess she is the only one that is affected by this, I’m sure her kids struggling ,but she did vote for that big beautiful bill. I don’t wanna hear her complain about cost of health insurance .

Old Marge sees the writing on the wall. Distance herself from MAGA or lose her seat. Trump is deeply unpopular, and a blue wav3 is coming in midterms 🙏

She’s not all of a sudden anti MAGA or anti Trump
She just wants to win her seat

    12. ExactMetal8787 on

Don’t fall for any image rehabilitation that the mainstream media disgustingly affords this woman. She is a moralless grifter who wants to cling to wealth and power.

    13. Trump should have allowed his lapdog to run for the Senate seat. Now his lapdog is biting him because he didn’t praise it enough or give it enough treats. Had it called out his bullshit and lies instead getting those manly arms by carrying so much water for him over the past several years, I might almost respect it for its current moment of clarity, but it’s current stance is just spite.

    14. She can try to reframe herself as much as she wants, we still remember that bleach blonde butch body bitch she is.

    15. totallymarc on

Okay, what is her angle here? Republicans never tell the truth unless they have some sort of ulterior motive.

    16. parkinglotguy on

She’s still a piece of garbage and we will never forget that. She’s only upset because now these fascist hateful policies are affecting her.

    17. 2_Sheds_Jackson on

None of this matters unless she can convince one more of her GOP colleagues to sign the discharge petition. Just one more is all we ask.

    18. Equivalent-Garlic-88 on

Just a rat leaving the sinking ship. Still no better than a rat though.

    19. snakewrestler on

I have never liked MTG and definitely question any & all of her motives, but…. even if she is trying to pull a con job on everyone, the fact is she’s speaking out and none of the GOP have spoken out like her.

    20. What’s her end game? This sudden urge to break with her party is suspect.

    21. Sweethomebflo on

He’s letting her do this with no clap back. Think about that.

The most delicate snowflake has nothing to say about this?

      Sure, Jan.

    22. Techno_Gerbil on

Never have I ever thought that MJT would sound remotely sane and rational to me. Yet, here we are. This timeline is something else…

    23. skyedearmond on

I’m never going to like her, but this is politics. She’s actually operating on behalf of the interests of the voters. Isn’t that the job of a politician? Not to act on behalf of their own desires, goals, or interests, necessarily, but to primarily represent the people. If it ends with better, more comprehensive, and beneficial policies, fine.

    24. linesinthewater on

Is she on medication now or something? She seems like less of an unhinged maniac.

    25. CatLady_NoChild on

How sweetly ironic it would be if MTG introduced articles of impeachment. Then the house would be required to return to session. She heard the Epstein victims accounts first hand. The victims deserve justice. To see your rapist acting with impunity at the highest level of government is a level of psychological distress that I couldn’t ever describe.

    26. NO. NO. *NO!*

This opportunistic clown can simply go fuck *way* off. Nope. She’s a shitty wolf in even shittier sheep’s clothing. She wants to get close, but her deeply held beliefs are hateful and hurtful. I could give a flying fuck if she’s trying to moderate to save her useless ass. She done enough damage as it is trying to out-Boebert Boebert. She needs to go away and stop pretending like she cares, because she doesn’t.

    27. What’s with the gatekeeping? If she wants to go on every news channel and rebuke the actions of the President and her colleagues, then let her. I don’t care what her motivations are. If she can talk some common sense into her base, even reach a tiny fraction of them, then great. She’s not trying to convince you of anything. You’re not losing anything by letting her speak on this.

    28. Credit where credit is due. She’s better at calling out Trump’s absurdity than any Dem I can remember was on Biden’s ridiculous economic narrative.

    29. Life-Ship3628 on

Wondering if She knows something about what is about to come out from the Epstein files
Noticing more GOP distancing themselves from Trump

Our media is so fucking dumb. Stop giving this ghoul a platform to sell herself as a sane, rational player. This is all an act.

    31. BeenDragonn on

Pipebomb Marge was asking for a pardon from Trump after January 6th. She was directly involved with an attempt to dismantle democracy and should be in prison for life along with every republican involved

When MTG, who is an absolute scumbag of a human, is the voice of reason for your party, your party is in big trouble.
