And much of this is Biden’s fault as he foolishly decided to run a 2nd term, stayed in too long and then the DNC screwed the electorate by crowning Harris just months out from a general election.

    2. Biden and Garland had one job. Only one. And they didn’t do it. Trump is the result of that failure. Playing by the rules when the other side launched an all out war was a fucking Chamberlain moment in our history. For all the good that Biden did for the country, I will regard his Presidency as an utter and complete failure for not pursuing Trump for his treason and other blatant crimes. I want no pronouncements from Biden or anyone else who decided to try to bring things back to normal before we had won this war.

And he helped put Trump back in by railroading Harris with two months of campaigning.

Girl. You also took a knife to the back of democracy when your old ass decided not to step down, and then to step down way too late. Shut up and sit down and take care of your cancer and go live a private life. Wishing you all the health and also that I never have to read your statements again.

Thanks for not pursuing criminal actions by Trump and allowing this to happen.

This is why we can’t let old people rule us anymore

    6. KoalaRashCream on

Yep and he could have stopped it

Now that the GOP has employed fascism to accelerate their plans the DNC must start playing Calvin ball to fix the loopholes the GOP used and they must push through all tax and healthcare changes that we deserve

    7. acousticburrito on

Perhaps he could have prosecuted the greatest act of treason in American history instead? No? Ok that’s fine sharp criticism is basically the same thing.

And you left the damn keys to the wrecking ball Crain on the counter jerk

    9. You ahould have quit earlier and let the democrats elect a new candidate tp run against Trump. I have nothing against Biden but he is in part resposEnible for the mess we are in.

    10. Yes, and you (Biden) had FOUR FUCKING YEARS to do something about it. And you didn’t.

      Go. The fuck. Away.

I hope you have a wonderful and lengthy remainder of your life. I wish you no ill. But god damn, just SHUT THE FUCK UP.

    11. If only there was a mountain of evidence to put Trump away for good when a certain somebody was president from 2021 to 2025. Hmmmm

    12. InvertedEyechart11 on

The Democrats had a majority under Biden from January 3, 2021, to January 3, 2023 and did…

      *crickets*

    13. Elon_is_a_Nazi on

You could tell this was going to happen when Trump allowed a billionaire nazi at his inauguration throw up 2 heil hitlers. Which is not debatable, is full confirmed via video, was broadcasted to the world.

    14. i_ata_starfish-twice on

Biden issued sharp criticism? Amazing! We are saved! His legacy will forever be tarnished for being the person that allowed Trump to return to power with his fecklessness

    15. I love the Biden sycophants in this thread trying to defend him.

The man is the Chamberlain of the United States. Spent four years saying „Trump is a fascist, Trump will destroy Democracy,“ and did squat during his term to actually stop him, then when Trump won the election, Biden *shook his hand* in front of cameras and welcomed him back into the White House with a personal tour.

And now all you Democratic party line holders are in here telling us „no, this is all YOUR fault,“ like it’s 2016 all over again.

Nobody’s buying it anymore. People here, at least, have seen the man behind the curtain and they don’t like what they see. Get lost.

    16. Agile_End_3049 on

I share frustration with Biden that others are sharing. But, if Biden had appointed a better AG – someone who wouldn’t have slow walked the prosecution of Donnie, would the Supreme Court have thwarted it anyway? Based on their rulings over the last couple years which are completely detached from reality and the constitution (giving the executive branch king-like powers), the answer is yes. The answer is, unfortunately, yes.

We can’t rely on the Supreme Court to save us. It’s largely up to us citizens to save our democracy, or what’s left of it, and rebuild from there.

    17. I still remember him smiling and shaking hands when he handed Trump the keys like everything was fine

    18. ceiffhikare on

He is not wrong. I just have a hard time giving a damn what the man wants likes thinks or feels at this point. He screwed the nation that he served with his ego, the people around him failed the nation with their avarice and need for power. Parading the man around like this feels like elder abuse and if it his wishes then folks need to tell him its not helping defeat the opposition. Just go home Joe and stay there..quietly enjoying your life and legacy now.

    19. Weltall8000 on

trump is terrible, the American people are stupid, but, Biden did next to nothing/worse than nothing to prevent this when he was in a position and responsibility to do something about it.

Fuck Joe Biden. He slept on the biggest threat to the USA.

    20. ShakedNBaked420 on

And you welcomed him in with a smile and a handshake.

Four years they had to prevent something like this and they did nothing.

    21. saltytradewinds on

If only Biden had decided not to run after the 2022 midterms, we could have had a different option.

    22. This is a toothless statement that Trump, his voters, and the nonvoters do not care one iota about. Hell, if Biden said “Trump is trying to ethnically cleanse America” half of those fuckers would cheer.

    23. Then maybe you should have fucking done something to prevent that when you had the power to do so.

    24. is this the new internet explorer meme? This guy just needs to shut the fuck up. ineffectual idiot, just fuckin sit in your corner and be quiet. if anything, biden denouncing trump is only gonna fuel the MAGA freaks

    25. SuperbSockSpecimen on

You let him! Jesus HP Lovecraft chrysanthemum christ. A lot of this stuff is your fault. Next time be proactive so the child raping conman goes where he belongs.

    26. Yeah.

That’s kinda why we fucking begged you to replace your feckless attorney general. But, uh, congrats for figuring that out now, I guess.

    27. MercantileReptile on

Right message, terrible messenger. Mr. „Welcome home“ teaparty and smiles is comically ill suited for this.

    28. feralraindrop on

Biden at least tried to help the entire country, not profit off his position; but most people voted for him because there were no better choices. That said and despite what I thought was an okay term as President, no one wanted him to run again and no one wants to hear what he has to say now. Sad but so true and the fact that he thinks he has any relevancy at this point is delusional.

    29. Look__a_distraction on

Seriously fuck Biden. He could’ve stopped this and chose to be a meek appeaser instead.

    30. hackingdreams on

…maybe you should have directed your DOJ to do something about that, huh?

Reconstruction worked out so great after the Civil War, it only gave us a hundred more years of terrible fucking policy. Appeasement did the world a hell of a lot of good when the fascists showed up in Europe. Why learn anything from history?

    31. AbleCap5222 on

You are the reason we are dealing with this. If you had appointes an attorney general who wanted to enforce the law Trump would be in prison.

    32. Coming from the the guy that slow-walked everything he did and clung to the idea that *he* had to be the 2020 nominee until so late in the year that we couldn’t have primaries and were stuck with his anointment of Harris and whatever ineffective campaign she could cobble together before November *AND* he put Garland in charge of the DOJ, Biden can STFU and sit down. His administration set us up for this second Trump term.

    33. WildlySkeptical on

This asshole absolutely could have facilitated the accountability of trump for his crimes and enforcement of consequences. But he didn’t. And now we are here.
