As over 1,000 civilians are released from Israeli detention centres, reports of rampant inhumane and torturous conditions continue to be revealed. This article shares a brief snapshot of the conditions of one of these detention centres, a place where ordinary citizens are still kept who were rounded up early during the invasion of Gaza, seemingly only to serve as bargaining chips during negotiations.

This underground prison, closed when it was considered too inhumane an environment to hold 15 prisoners, is now reopened by the far-right Israeli government to hold over 100. Held without charge or trial, these individuals and their lawyers claim they have been subjected to years of psychological and physical torture that break international laws.

There’s a limit to how much BS you can take. Israel has prisons for terrorists, places where it keeps palestinians with life sentences for actually being dangerous.
But they are keeping civilians that are taken as bargaining chips in a secret location hidden from the world.
That’s likely.
(Not that Israel wouldn’t hold actual terrorist underground in inhumane conditions, I just don’t see it with ‚ordinary civilians‘)
Also – we already saw that a lot of 7/10 was carried out by ‚civilians‘, so I’ll take their innocense with a grain of salt.

And after writing all this, it hit me.
