nobody talks about nuclear war except the one who wants to warn and prevent it
Putin believes some incredible things, I am not sure what his attitude is towards nuclear war. He does wave the threat around some. Is the Antichrist and the return of Jesus for a thousand years of glory part of the Eastern Orthodox jive?

Putin knows his opposition will cave at the threat of it. And if he acts crazy enough, the threat is enough. Rule through fear.

It seems that Putin likes to play the nuclear card and issue threats as a way to intimidate and get his way. He’s been doing that a long time. This is why Biden let him get away with so much and there was very little help for Ukraine from either the US or other NATO countries. But Rutte and the current EU/NATO leadership see to be calling Putin’s bluff now. They are preparing for a regular war not a nuclear war.
He thought invading Ukraine was a good idea, so…
