So just show up and start doing the job. If they don’t want to follow the norms and rules of our government, you don’t have to either.

Mike Johnson is a keebler elf that creepily monitors his son’s porn habits.

Waiting for a republican to get elected to cancel out her Epstein Vote.

In my humble opinion, she is far too nice. I’d be outside Johnson’s office everyday. I’d show up to those daily press conferences, and I’d be obnoxious and passionate as hell until they folded.

Speaker Johnson during shutdown: „We want incoming representatives to experience the full ceremony of the Oath ceremony, as it is a glorious tradition befitting the position.“

Speaker Johnson after the shutdown: „Yeah, just stop by my office and we can do it after lunch. Or, know what: if you want to do it on a Zoom Tuesday morning, I think I can wiggle out of meetings….“

its fucking insane that ONE PERSON can hold up simple operations/procedures like this. fuck the GOP.

How flawed the system is if one person can block her indefinitely.

He will swear her in when there’s another Republican he can swear in so that will nullify her Epstein file vote. Gotta protect the pedos.

    9. I just don’t understand how a dipshit from Louisiana is able to prevent citizens of Arizona from having Congressional representation.

    10. Johnson has denied her constituents 6% of their representative’s elected term.

Any resident’s in the Tennessee’s 7th congressional district please vote for Aftyn Behn (D). Early voting starts mid-November and of course on December 2nd. This seat could cancel out her vote if it stays Republican.

      Edit: a word

    12. Think of the glorious precedent , any Democratic house Speaker can now take their sweet sweet time in seating any Republican congressperson up to and including six weeks and counting.

    13. Everyday they don’t seat her sets precedent for what Democrats can do when they re-take the house. I don’t think Jeffries would do this, but I hope he considers it.

He’s stalling until the special election in Tennessee gives them the no vote to keep the child rapists protected.

    15. With the DOJ admitting the Epstein files are even more damning to Trump, no wonder Mike refuses to do his duties.

So, when democrats take power, what’s going to prevent them from just not swearing in ANY republican?

    17. StunningPlastic4504 on

He’s waiting for the Dec 2 special election in Tennessee to hopefully get another Republican in Congress so Dems won’t have the votes needed to release the Epstein files.

Why does America grant a partisan politician the power to decide whether or not to swear in a democratically elected representative?

This system of „norms“ that forms the basis of American governance appears to have been just waiting for a bunch of fascists to exploit it to their advantage.

Welp, Bannon did warn his party that if they don’t seize all pillars of power, they’d go to Jail.

Johnson is hoping that Nancy Mace or MTG resign for mental health reasons before he has to swear her in.

    21. SweatyAd9240 on

Well protecting pedophiles is a little more important to republicans than democracy

    22. SuperSue123 on

You need more Press and focus on the situation. Show up at every event and press briefing asking him to swear you in .

    23. Why is swearing in a thing even required by the speaker?   The people voted, fuck what the speaker wants.

    24. markiemark112 on

Remember when Mike was trying to justify this by saying „oh well Nancy Pelosi did it“ and I know there was little pushback about it was because it was the candidates choice to wait but there needs to be more push back on this. The house hasnt been to work in 7 weeks! almost 2 months of them not at work collecting checks and the Dems need to be more vocal and on the attack, these elections just showed a massive shift against the admin and they need to start applying pressure.

Swear yourself in. The rules don’t apply anymore. Afterall, Trump took an oath to uphold the Constitution!
