I’m from Antep/Aintab and we have historical buildings just like this in this style in what used to be the Armenian quarter. Unfortunately one has been turned into a mosque. And everyone knows they were made by Armenians.
When I went it was really foggy, like it had a really different vibe to it.
You can also go by road to Tatev, no need to take the cable car
