I feel like pardons use to be for those folks convicted under special circumstances, you know, like a miscarriage of justice or something.

These should be used in campaign ads for any democrat running for any office. Just have a list of all the pardons for fraud and abuse of office that the republicans seem to regularly partake in and the big guy in charge gives them the pardon, talk about corruption.

      >Yes the president called me today and granted me a full pardon. I am grateful of his trust and his full confidence in my innocence through this whole ordeal. I’m a private citizen and looking forward to getting back to being with my family and friends. Literally hundreds of people have been praying for this and I’m thankful to the president and to the Lord for answering those prayers. – Glen Casada said to WSMV4

The virtue signaling of convicted felons and known criminals is a hallmark of this administration.

“Literally hundreds of people have been praying”. Yeah, have they? Did you do a headcount? You got the receipts?

      This country needs an enema.

    4. Im about to the point to say that we should just push to abolish the power of the pardon via constitutional amendment

There are very few cases I can see an actual benefit these days and Trump has proven how corrupt the power can be

It’s always the finance criminals he pardons. It’s like he’s afraid of touching anyone else

    6. >On May 16, 2025, Casada was found guilty on 17 of 19 charges including theft, bribery, kickbacks, use of a fictitious name to carry out fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering. Cothren was found guilty on all 19. On September 23, 2025, Casada was sentenced to 3 years in prison. Less than two months later, Casada and Cothren were pardoned by President Donald Trump.

      Sounds about right.

    7. „…Are you ready? -I never heard of the guys. I heard they were treated very unfairly when they were found guilty by a court of law and I believe whatever the last person I spoke to says. Joe Biden something something…“ (fills diaper while staffer collapses nearby)

trump really needs to be brought up on RICO charges along with every sycophantic member of his family and “organization.”

Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in the history of presidents.

    10. Looks like any Republican convicted of anything no matter what during the last 5 years or so will be pardoned or sentence commuted. Any Democrat who said something about Trump that he didn’t like will be investigated and sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in a maximum security prison in a foreign country known for abuse of its prisoners in custody. Anyone wish to dispute this??

Of course he does. If you’ve committed fraud and corruption, he will pardon you.

Trump being president is a get out of jail free card for right wing criminals.

A convicted felon has the power to pardon convicted felons. That’s fucking insane

I guess Halloween isn’t over free ~~candy~~ pardons for anyone who TheRump thinks has exhibited enough loyalty. Or is rich enough to aid in future grifting schemes

Is that unbelievable or what? No it’s Trump being Trump. Lock them all back up and leave the Dreamers alone.

    16. Trump is teaching federal prosecutors to leave some charges for the state AGs.

    17. Do you think he has any idea about this one since he didn’t seem to know about Zhao? They are trying really hard to lose every election for the next 50 years.

    18. Golden ballrooms, military in the streets, pardoning convict after convict and economy-crashing incompetence…oh that „great guy“ Epstein.

I am absolutely *stunned* Dems somehow kicked so much ass on election night /s

Criminal Prez pardons fellow criminal… shocking……not.

How many criminals has he pardoned so far?
      …..I lost count….

So much for the “law and order party”….

    20. Corrupts, conmen, money launderers, all those alike, Trump’s pardon is for thee!
(For the right price of course, get now pay later)

    21. So Trump just pardoned the guy who cheered on his chief of staff for hooking up in a disgusting Party Fowl bathroom while they were both doing coke on their expense accounts and running a kickback scheme through fake mailer contracts.

Tennessee Republicans – not known for being particularly self-policing – booted him years ago for being gross and corrupt.

Nothing says “drain the swamp” like pardoning the dudes who literally turned the statehouse into a frat house. Why anyone would want to risk a 60-second blowjob (yes we know that’s how long it took) at a hot chicken joint is beyond me.
