      I find it incredibly bizarre that the Right in the United States tries to use the same anti-Islam arguments as the Right in Europe („Immigrants don’t assimilate! They commit more crime, etc“). These arguments don’t make sense when applied to Latino immigrants, who do assimilate, are Christian, and don’t commit any more violent crime than native-born citizens.
