Sure, he thinks of himself and his interests as being those of the USA. And he’s certain to use his power over the US „golden share“ and other equity investments in companies like US Steel and Intel in ways that will benefit himself and his allies personally.
It’s gross how something that could be a very good thing– government-negotiated flat prices for popular drugs– end up looking like a personal shakedown by a mobster when Trump is involved.

The increase in brutal honesty from Trump aligns with his dementia. As dementia gets worse, the filter gets thinner and thinner until they just start spilling whatever comes to mind.
