Virginia is a blue state so I knew the governor would flip back, it only went red because they were pissed about lockdowns during COVID, nothing about the elections shocked me, very much went as expected.

I hope Georgia elects a blue governor next year so that at least one part of the south will be protected if SCOTUS obliterates black representation in the south.
How has Texas continued to cultivate conservative voters despite the huge population based primarily in large cities?

I don’t quite have the apportionment (malapportionment to be more accurate) memorized but I assume an electoral college map that looked like this would be a big win for Dems?
I’m from Kansas and not enough people talk about how Kansas has had two democrats that have served two terms (Kelly in her second term through 2027) since 2000 in the governors mansion. deep red Kansas has had a democrat governor for 16 years through 2027… it should be studied more
