Da ich auf einer tropischen Insel lebe, gehört Kochen am Strand zu meinen Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. Hier sind einige Mahlzeiten im Freien, die ich im Laufe der Jahre zubereitet habe.
Alright, I’m coming by for dinner then. Looks delicious!

Actual, proper, cooking on the beach! Love it. Some of it looks very different from waht I’m used to eating, but it all looks truly amazing. I’ll bring the beer!

You are very lucky! Is this off the coast of SE Asia or further more in the Pacific?

I haven’t made a meal that good in my kitchen let alone on an open fire on the beach. You’re living the dream!

My question as well. How do you not get sand in your food? Or is that part of the meal?

Around the time of liberation of the Philippines, my grandfather was in the us forces. Just a few months before being directly mobilized to Japan. He and many others hung out with locals eating most delicious pork and fish. Fresh fruits on grills. My grandfather was part of the signal corps so he lent out pliers and telegraph wiring as fishing lines. Local motor pool slapped together crude grills for in-ground fire pits. July-August 1945
