Makes sense.
Vapes are easier to get hold of. Easier to conceal. Taste better. Shouldn’t be but can be used inside. More affordable. Still somewhat “cool” with younger generations.
Pretty sure it’s about as healthy as sucking on a battery but maybe that’s marginally better than choking down actual smoke?
It’s only going one way.
As people who vape get older the younger generation will take it up en masse.
Vaping will be bigger than smoking ever was.
Vapes smell awful, are *terrible* for the environment, and don’t even look cool. I know some people say they’re a useful aid to quit smoking, but I’ve seen several friends try this and most of them just end up with a new bonus addiction without fully erasing the old one. Vape shops have taken over my local high street and all of them look uninviting, soulless, and a bit grim.
I can’t wait for vapes as a trend to be over.
Most local authorities are pro-vape and a lot use them as part of their stop smoking programs and offer them free of charge with fluids and kits provided from 6 to 12 weeks worth of products. They also offer behavioral support to help people quit smoking. In terms of smokers health it’s 95% less harmful to vape
Ah yes, vaping Elf bars and the like is probably my second worst habit, shortly behind discarding them out on the street once I’m done with them.
Not surprised, smokers probably have less lung capacity so can’t run for as long.
I got so hooked on vaping, that I went back to cigs. Easier to quit cigarettes than vapes. I’m now 3 months completely nicotine free.
Oh so that’s why they’re adding a massive tax to vaping next October.
Everyone’s gonna go back to smoking when a 100ML bottle of liquid that lasts about 2 weeks goes from £14 to £40

Vapes becoming kind of cool is what concerns me. I quit smoking/vaping entirely for over a year because I felt like such a tit standing in public sucking on cola flavoured usb stick.
Vaping was the worst thing i ever started.
I smoke more now than I ever did because of it.
Big tobacco absolutely cannot believe their luck with vaping – esp as so many young people are hooked. Also we have no idea the long term effects of vaping – there have been anecdotal cases of people suffering severe lung problems though.
don’t worry with the upcoming vape tax we’ll see more smokers again
