      With Republicans in complete control of the federal government, the government has been shut down for over a month, and the Trump Administration is illegally withholding SNAP benefits nationwide.

      I’m glad to see voters showing their displeasure.

      The NYC billionaires spent over $40million dollars to defeat him because of his “socialist” ideas.

      They would rather throw money at an election than pay their employees, lower rents, actually help feed people. This is the America trump wants to go back to, the one he thinks was great.

      I say, let’s go forward and make America a country that takes care of all of its people, not just its wealthy.

      Let’s hope that tonight’s election results are a sharp rebuke of Trump and embolden some fresh democratic leadership willing to break the status quo.

      Trump’s approval ratings have been consistently underwater throughout his entire term and there has been an indication of support for progressive and leftist candidates in response to Trump’s kleptocratic and authoritarian policies.

      He’s failed to address this country’s issues in any sort of fundamental way. Instead, he has been mostly fixated on pageantry, pomp and circumstance; on exploiting his power to obstruct justice; on using his office to enrich himself, his family, and his wealthy benefactors; on weaponizing the government against his political opponents and federalizing the military to carry out his unconstitutional whims, and among other things; on transforming the presidency into a dictatorship.

      Turns out, these things aren’t very popular…
