I also moved to Spain with my Spanish wife! Gulas definitely take some getting used to. But It’s pretty tasty with shrimp, a little chili, and good olive oil

    3. I’m with you—they’re absolutely disgusting. And to top it off, you can’t even toss them in any bin because environmental laws ban it. I don’t get how they’re allowed to sell that crap. If you don’t mind, just send them over in a Tupperware and I’ll take care of getting rid of them myself.

    4. Tbf, most gulas you’ll find out and about are made of fish. Actual gulas have to be harvested by hand from the rivers and it’s super tedious work, so they are quite expensive. This is just basically spaghetti made of white fish…and they make a tasty little pincho.

Angulas! Is this the real deal or the imitation version? I guess if you don’t like seafood these won’t be to your liking, but I’ve definitely had much weirder delicacies. The flavor is quite mild.

    7. The real ones are quite expensive so probably you(they) are eating sashimi(processed flavored fish food).
