As usual I urge all americans and foreigners not to buy any american cars.

    2. The current agreement is good to 2036. It means nothing if the U.S. doesn’t honor it.

The fact and the matter is that America does not have, right now, the factories and the trained workforce to replace Canadian and Mexican auto workers and building that capacity will either require massive investments that will make the American carmakers uncompetitive in the market of it will require 8 to 10 years… (Meaning by the time America can build cars 100% in house, Trump will be 87 to 89 years old and probably dead).

Meanwhile foreign carmakers, benefiting from huge economies of scale, will be able to sell cars at a much higher profit margin and if Trump tariffs them, then the American consumers will have to choose between overpriced American cars and tariffed Foreign cars, both costing them more than they should.

Nah we good bro. Have fun moving back down there and working within that MAGA Trump economic system. Enjoy those tariffs on your inputs. I am sure Americans who are being SQUEEZED right now are going to looking to purchase new cars at elevated prices .

      Have fun with that.

    5. people need to remember this just doesnt involve the big 3

Toyota / Mazda / Subaru actually make cars in North America which are significantly impacted now due to tariffs.

    6. Oh yeah?? Tell me how bad you want it. Say it again. Aw yeah. Now, how much are you willing to bribe, I mean pay for it to be extended? Okay, double it and maybe I’ll think about the concept of a plan to extend the deal. Don’t like it? You’re antifa and that’s illegal, I think.

Trump doesn’t respond to „urges“ from trade groups, he responds to money. It sounds like the auto manufacturers didn’t donate enough to the ballroom fund.
