Imagine a Presidential election ever being this one one-sided again? It’s truly inconceivable.

FDR was the most transformative president of all time & proved that socialism could work in America.

The thought of Colorado voting against FDR not once but TWICE is mind blowing.

The Midwest and Pennsylvania being unable to make up their minds is the least suprising thing about this.

1936 is the most lopsided US presidential election since 1820 by EV percentage.

Why did PA go for Hoover in ‘32? I understand New England voting Republican back then but PA seems to me to have been a blue collar state at the time.

While I don’t like Trump and hope he croaks by 2028, there’s such a funny irony of people freaking out about a possible 3rd term labeling him a fascist while we have this very clear example of a president that ran for 4 terms while fighting literal fascists. I understand the laws changed after this, and it’s not the same and yadda yadda but still.

I’ve always wondered why Michigan went for FDR in 1932 & 1936, flipping to Wilkie in 1940, then flipping back to FDR in 1944.
