Tiktok, along with every other social media plattform is literally melting Westerners‘ brains with its disinformation and far right propaganda, and yet here we are still launching studies into it. We know it is destructive, we know it is toxic for children and young people, and yet no govt has any foresight to do anything about it.
Each social media platform should be held legally responsible for any disinformation that is hosted on it’s site. There should be massive fines for every single case. Every one of those companies should be banned from sharing user data out of their home country.
