I have heard whispers that he caught the barracks officer’s son drug smuggling from the occupied areas and he was going to report them , don’t know if it’s true or not but I can’t comprehend why this trial took so many twist and turns.
The article says private criminal charges, which likely means that the court will just dismiss them. The authorities have neglected to charge anyone over this crime over the years so why would they change their tune now? This is likely a last resort effort by Theodoros‘ family’s lawyers, sadly.
