Good, for women as well, because of equality.

Too old, too unfit, or too important to serve yet they want the young to go. Convenient.

Maybe increase the retirement tax a 16th time will youre at it.
They refused hand x-rays for refugees to dermine thier age… but they want to check german young men….
This is not ok. Refusing to check phones and age of refugees backfires now. What is the difference between someone comming over green border and asking for protection while hiding thier true motives and identity and a german young man? Why the first gets unchecked and recieves support the second gets checked and will likely be drafted???
Ukraine has shown that it is better to draft older men (27 to 45, it went to 25 in June 2023) as :
1) they at least have something to fight for (a wife, kids).
2) it gives time to young people to have kids before they are drafted as they grow older.
Do men in Ukraine get 5 votes each when the war is over ?
Kind of pointless without adequate weapons.
Gotta protect our precious Talahons at all cost

This is so silly. The manpower shortages are an issue of payment, career prospects and general dislike for the armed forces in Germany at all level especially the political one which controls the budget and leadership.
And we can all look at Russians during the war in Ukraine to see what a bunch of barely trained, poorly motivated people who don’t wanna be there can get you.
Send all the new immigrants. They can prove how much they are willing to protect their new home nation
What benefit will the people get from this? Nothing
Screw this, time to get out of Germany.

Any draft/conscription is a failure of economics. The laws of supply and demand will always ensure you get vollentary people if the price is right
I hope that they do this in the netherlands too. There is much glory to be won on the firing line!
