If people are leaving, I’d hand them a copy of Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin, a sign, and invite them to the next protest. I call bullshit on the title. She not only qualified her displeasure to just the SNAP program, she was noncommittal on whether it would affect future votes. So definitely NOT „desperately regretting“ voting for Trump. OP, do better.

But she doesn’t desperately regret her vote. The headline is misleading. She’s thrilled with what the administration is doing at the border, she’s upset about the hardworking people who aren’t getting SNAP (as if some people don’t deserve food), and she couldn’t tell the reporter if she would vote for him again. She’s fine with everything they’re doing except the things that impact her.
I wish people could extend kindness to strangers again. I wish we all wanted good things for each other.

I don’t think she regrets her vote, I think she regrets that voting for Trump is affecting her. As opposed to the people she wants to be hurt by Trump’s policies.
