Ireland has a 3 day waiting period – the idea seems to have been to prevent rushed decisions but in reality was just to get past a fairly conservative fringe on the centre right when the legislation was debated.

I want to correct that Malta did amend it to now allowing abortion if there is a risk to life, I think in like 2022ish they did that. Not that I’m congratulating them for the bare minimum, it’s not good enough, but this map is technically wrong on that

Do they? should they?
In Romania, for example, doctors can choose not to do it, so in the end it can get quite complicated.
I believ whole EU should be pink only in case if child support would also be depending on your choice – father doesn’t want = father doesn’t pay.
Otherwise it should be restricted to BOTH parents choosing (and penalised if lied of that choice or not knowing the father).
