If they are deem illegal, the Trump Admin is screwed. Billions will have to be repaid. As such, Trump has a vested interest to see this squashed, so I wonder how much pressure Bondi is applying on the courts for a favourable outcome for Trump? I mean, she’s a Trump placement and has no ethics to speak of, so I can imagine she’s working it pretty hard.
Realistically, I don’t expect the courts to find Trumps tariffs illegal, not because they aren’t, but the impact to the American people would be too significant.

They will ignore the ruling because there is no rule of law in the United States anymore. The executive does what it wants.
Do people not realize the whole thing is over?
I really don’t trust the Supreme Court to do anything other than kiss the Emperor’s ring here, but if they do get tossed, I would expect the Conservative justices to issue an order that it applies on a prospective basis thereby saving Trump the embarrassment of having to take a draw from his White House renovation fund and issue refunds.
In normal times, they would be illegal. Now, Trump says it and all the other arms of their system run to make sure it holds.
You can’t deal fairly with this idiocy. America is falling, and rightly so. Canada needs to keep shifting away so their crash doesn’t hit us as hard
Basically even if they are it doesn’t really matter trump has 4 or 5 different legal avenues to utilize itll take the rest of his term to litiigate it
