Surprisingly ignorant framing from EVA. Using the word “fear” in this kind of survey is counterproductive. I checked the Finnish original, the translation is accurate.
There is already a major war raging in Europe
I live well within Russian artillery range and I don’t even have the thought in my mind.
I don’t believe there will be much escalation anymore. This war in Ukraine has been halted for a long time. Russians don’t seem to be able to make any breakthrough and while they are struggling with that they don’t have air superiority or even sufficient air defence to stop Ukraine from striking strategic infrastructure deep within their territory. With all this it’s just a matter of time before it all just completely dries down. The momentum has been gone since the beginning and their morale is extremely low.
Same fear breeding from far-right as always. Just pure manipulation. EVA is not a seriously taken organization and it’s kinda worrying that publicly funded YLE uses their words without any criticism.
