The only thing I remember about cheney is that one of his daughters came out as gay. When that happened he softened his draconian stance against gays. He continued along the path to accepting them as he left office.

Proving to me, once and for all, that you can’t be a good republican AND a good family man. That alone should tell you the republican party is toxic to most things American. 🙂
