      Currently there’s no real evidence of a big effect from the US sanctions announced to supposedly begin on 21st Nov, e.g. [barely any change in Russian oil prices](https://bsky.app/profile/leoskyview.bsky.social/post/3m4oohdfdl22z).

      It’s possible there’ll be a rush to stock up on russian oil before the sanctions, and if Trump doesn’t TACO then there might be a hit to Russia in December.

      How long does it take oil to reach India from Russia?

      If oil tankers travel at 25 KPH then there may be some lag.
