This is the perfect summation of American politics in Fall 2025.
Having watched the Cuomo boys criticize Trump five years ago, the whole thing blows me away. Virtually no one has integrity anymore.
That’s such a bizarre twist — Trump backing Cuomo is like political theater at its finest. It’ll probably just fire up Democrats even more and push progressives to rally behind Mamdani. If anything, that endorsement might have done him a favor without meaning to.
Trump has always been the most vocal proponent of what *not* to vote for.

This is the greatest example that establishment dems are not representative of the democratic party as a whole and are preferable to the fascist GOP over progressives.
I would love of Cuomo’s team is just lamenting this endorsement.

Both Cuomo and Trump are calling Mamdani a communist, and banking on the hope that Americans are too ignorant to know the difference between communism and socialism.

Democrats are aware of the corruption going on with Trump and Republicans… they recently just dealt with that corruption under Eric Adams… Why on Earth would Cuomo believe it was a great idea to have Trump endorse him? NYC is not full of dumb southern red state republicans that easily eat up propaganda.
They’re also struggling big time in Trumps economy. Sky High rent in roach/rat infested apartments.
Trump is trying to convince Republican voters to vote for Cuomo instead of Sliwa. This might have an impact since Republicans tend to vote on election day rather than early or by mail, and there are enough Republican voters to help Cuomo defeat Mamdani.
It’s BARELY an endorsement when he always says Cuomo stinks.
