Who’s going to want to join the Gardai if they are punished for committing assaults on minors?
Seen this few months ago, didn’t the guy go on 5 days later to rob someone and beat them up at an atm?
The “victim” isn’t exactly a pillar of the community.. and if I recall, he presented a bottle to the guards that arose to the leg sweep when asked to empty their pockets.
Alas, I hope this doesn’t ruin this guys life because of a “angle”.

He has do some time in jail. When a Gardai arrests you and then handcuffs your hands behind your back, they have a duty of care as you are in their custody now.
To purposely leg sweep a minor with their hands cuffed behind their back resulting in a fractured skull is some serious stuff. Then to not seek medical attention for the injured unconscious person is damning.
