      News snippet; Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to one of its lowest points, with only 37% of Americans expressing approval of his performance as president.

      The new CNN/SSRS survey released on Monday shows a sharp decline in Trump’s approval ratings compared to the early days after he began his second term in January, when his approval stood at 47% by mid-February.

      The latest survey, conducted among 1,245 adults from October 27 to 30, shows a 63% disapproval rating, just a percentage point higher than his lowest mark ever recorded by CNN, which came in the week following the January 6 Capitol Hill riots in 2021.

      When asked how things are going in the US, today, a majority of Americans, 68%, said “pretty/very badly,” while 32% said “very/fairly well.”

      The survey, conducted as the federal government appears to enter what will be the longest shutdown in American history, also found that 47% of Americans view the economy and cost of living as the most important issue facing the country.

      It’s about time the media start covering him like he is. Pretty well hated except by his devoted cult. He is almost as low as after January 6th and you would never know by the coverage

      The sole reason it is so high, is due to massively effective propaganda, spouted out by the fox news, other cable channels, and podcasters, where those 37% gleefully chug down their propaganda bullshit and lies.

      It doesn’t really matter if his approval rating was zero. He’s still the most corrupt, the most criminal, and the most powerful President in modern history. Quite a combination, isn’t it?

      Popularity has absolutely nothing to do with Trump’s ability to wield Presidential power.

      None of these matter. You have way too many people in this country who fully believed lies of crime waves, caravans, that 20m illegals came over in the last 4 years, of cats and dogs being eaten, and of how inflation occurred. They can think poorly of trump’s performance all they want. When they get into that voting booth they will tell themselves that it would be worse under a dem and hit that R button over and over.

      George W Bush left office in 2008 with a 34% approval rating. Trump is still higher than Bush. There’s still plenty of room to go down.

      That 37% is in a cult. Their whole personality is tied to Trump and the MAGA movement. Many are victims of propaganda and decades of indoctrination. While I have no respect for any Trump voter or red hat, we will have to come to terms with how to deprogram millions of Americans.
