Hallo, ich habe diese Banknoten (insgesamt 15.000 NOK). Ich lebe in Portugal und habe keine Möglichkeit, sie umzutauschen. Ich habe bereits mit einer norwegischen Bank gesprochen und sie sagten, ich könne entweder persönlich dorthin gehen oder sie per Post schicken. Gibt es jemanden in Portugal, der sie gegen mich eintauschen könnte? Als Entschädigung kann ich 50 € anbieten.

      Just send them by mail. There is a risk ofcourse, but very little post handling is done by people these days. 

    2. The thing is that Norwegians would not take them off your hand as these are old notes and should be traded in anyway. And even if it was new notes, we don’t really use that any more either.

      I have a couple of these notes as well, so I know the feeling of sitting on them for too long…

      Why not fly to Oslo yourself? Sending 15,000 NOK by mail is ludicrous. 

    5. Go to the international terminal and exchange money with Norwegian tourists heading home?

      Never touched actual currency in the course of our last trip to Norway, Sweeden and Denmark. The magic of having a credit card with the best exchange rates makes this troublesome experience a thing of the past. It is highly amusing that all 3 have their own Kroner, and so none of them use the Euro.
