That’s actually kind of wild — Obama staying politically active behind the scenes like that makes sense though. He’s always had a soft spot for mentoring up-and-coming leaders.

Obama is literally the best president that’s still living like it’s not even up for debate it’s based on how effective he was as president. The fact he called and offered to basically mentor him is very honorable. Mamdani should feel proud to get that kind of recognition especially from a high ranking democrat.
