**Trump says no Tomahawks for Ukraine, for now**

      https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/trump-says-no-tomahawks-ukraine-now-2025-11-03/

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that, for now, he is not considering a deal that would allow Ukraine to obtain long-range Tomahawk missiles for use against Russia.

Trump has been cool to a plan for the United States to sell Tomahawks to NATO nations that would transfer them to Ukraine, saying he does not want to escalate the war.

His latest comments to reporters aboard Air Force One indicate that he remains reluctant.

„No, not really,“ Trump told reporters as he flew to Washington from Palm Beach, Florida, when asked whether he was considering a deal to sell the missiles.

He added, however, that he could change his mind.
Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed the Tomahawk idea when they met at the White House on October 22. Rutte said on Friday that the issue was under review and that it was up to the United States to decide.

Tomahawk missiles have a range of 2,500 km (1,550 miles), long enough to strike deep inside Russia, including Moscow.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has requested the missiles, but the Kremlin has warned against any provision of Tomahawks to Ukraine.

Did anyone actually think Putin was going to let Trump send Tomahawks to Ukraine?

    3. It’s incomprehensible that a person who operates 100 percent transactionally, doesn’t get the humanitarian awards he so badly desires. Go figure🤔🤔🤔

The marines are currently testing a land based launch system. Without it, a tomahawk is useless. This is smoke and mirrors.

Yeah, we knew that when he first suggested sending them.

Trump wants Putin to win. Everything else is theater.

    6. One call from the Kremlin is all it took. Washington bows to Moscow. What a time to be alive.

    7. Ukraine: Can we have weapons?

Trump: Yes. And no. And yes. But not today. Or any other day. Maybe tomorrow. The answer is definitely yes. But we are celebrating opposite day. So maybe tomorrow. But tomorrow doesn’t exist. I’ll consider it. But I need Putin approval. And I hate him. He’s my best friend and a great guy. You didn’t say thank you.

    8. This just shows trumps weakness. What is sad is that even if there was approval, it would take months to train. There won’t be US soldiers using them so it will take months of training. So for however long it takes before trump does anything, it will still be time after that before they can be used.

    9. So….. to no one’s surprise…. trump chickens out…. again. Ukraine doesn’t need the USAs mighty tomahawks. They got much cheaper readily made in Ukraine solutions that are regularly crippling Russian O&G infrastructure up to 1500km away. Blowing up critical O&G infrastructure and port loading infrastructure. Chemical plants plastics plants drone manufacturers 3 4 5 times a week. Ukraine does not need the USAs equipment any more than they need to listen to the empty promises/lip service from Putins puppet in the White House.

    10. He says yes, he says maybe, he says no, he says yes, he says no.

Sound about right? Hey supposed liberal media, why can’t this be your headline?

*psst* He wasn’t really considering giving them to begin with.

Is anyone else imagining, when Zelenskyy was sitting there in front of Trump and Hegseth a few weeks ago, Trump says “Yeah I don’t think we’ll be giving you any Tomahawks”, and Hegseth just sits there with a smug smirk in his face? I just can’t help but imagine that’s how it went.

    12. The Pentagon has cleared tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine. However they have left the final decision to Putin, who has told Trump, „no‘.

    13. It’s only the Department Of War against fishing boats off the coast of Venezuela.
