So much for folks‘ „Carney would never actually apologize“ takes, or „they’re doing good cop/bad cop“ or „Carney secretly smiled at Ford, he knew!“, etc.
Canada is taking the worst possible approach to dealing with Trump. Talk tough, poke at him, then immediately back off every time.
