Seems to be a bit behind the curve. After a couple of weeks when almost anything (in IP terms) was allowed, Sora seems to have much firmer restrictions over protected content now. It seems to be using its own AI to basically ask „Does this content seem like its been designed to mimic established characters?“
Still a major issue, as I’m sure other models with far less restrictions will soon appear. As video creation it becomes ever easier and more widespread, it may be impossible to put that genie back in the bottle.
