I mean, people saying there are obvious worse ones out there are clearly measuring this differently, and there are different metrics for this. In terms of number of different crimes and sheer scope of criminal activity, I actually agree that Trump has gotta be in the top 3. If we’re grading criminal activity as something like „number of people unjustly killed“ then obviously Trump isn’t even in the top 10. As a criminal who has diversified his crimes and perpetrated them at all levels of the economy and government on a massive scale, I think he has few obvious rivals. This is a guy who has grifted the system his entire life, has destroyed countless people’s finances and livelihoods, has absolutely gotten thousands (at the very least) of people killed with his actions, has disrupted the entire world economy multiple times, has sought to destroy the country that he swore to serve by subverting its laws in every way imaginable, etc.
