Lol what are they going to do? they can’t even protect their own capital

    2. grindandgrow1011 on

I don’t know why countries just mind their own businesses and do something for their people?

    3. Gamblinman97 on

They are going to tow that broken aircraft carrier that is rusted and blows out black smoke to the Caribbean

    4. TheDarthSnarf on

„Respond Appropriately“ is Russian slang for „Do Nothing at all“.

    5. FreezingRobot on

Respond appropriately like they did with their other allies Armenia and Syria?

    6. I love how Russia is stuck in 2015, when its involvement in Syria fooled the world into believing it can muster far reaching military power.

With the ongoing humiliation in Ukraine, the world sees it as the paper tiger it is. They can’t even win against their much weaker neighbor.

    7. They can’t even protect their own country with stuff getting blown up everyday! They can’t even take four full oblasts in Ukraine they claim as theirs now!

    8. Their logistics chain broke down 40km from their own fucking border. An energy superpower running their tanks out of fuel during the initial phase of their invasion is laughable. Imagine them trying to actually fight across the globe.

    9. ProfessionalCraft983 on

LOL they don’t even stand ready to attack Ukraine at this point.

    10. “We will be right there to help after our 1 day… err 1 week… err 1 month… err 1 year.. err whatever this assault and totally not war is over”

    11. They can spare some equipment from their large 80 year cold war surplus armaments. Nyet?! Where has glorious stockpile gone? To shreds you say?

    12. Hahah ok then, those bitches cant even start their cars without being blown up

Well then, if Trump attacks Venezuela, then Reddit will have at least one reason to rejoice: Putin will be even more demoralized, as this is will be proven to be another empty threat.

    14. „We helped Armenia end the war an … wait we didn’t? … What happend? … Really? Our own allies? I mean this time though!“

here we go again with russia acting tough over countries they have no business interfering with in the first place

    16. Creepy-Awareness-264 on

Russia! Went from having the 2nd most powerful military on the planet to the 2nd most powerful in Ukraine. Shit down and shut up Putin.

    17. Oh please deploy the aircraft carrier, I’ll get the popcorn ready to see what happens when they try to tow it across the Atlantic.

    18. JealousPea2212 on

The only appropriate response I figure Russia can muster is to release the Epstein files.

    19. I’m going to put on my tinfoil hat I scribbled „oPtuMiSt“ on….

What if an attack on Venezuela causes Putin to finally stop playing coy with Trump, and Trump finally starts backing Ukraine to keep Russia from interfering in the Caribbean?

It’s not worth invading a sovereign nation, even if they have an illegitimate president and ocean of oil. But poking a Russian ally may trigger the beginning to the end of Trump’s support for Putin, which would be good for the entire world.

But then at the same time a disruption in venezuelan oil production would kick up prices, which would help Putin’s shadow oil economy

What is Russia going to do from across half the world. He meddles and he may actually piss Trump off into hopping off his dick

    21. PlaymakersPoint88 on

Can’t beat Ukraine…it wouldn’t end well for you. Or anyone really.

    22. Efficient_Resist_287 on

Russia could not help Syria and there was a naval and air bases there…how is Russia going to help Venezuela?

    23. AdBusiness5212 on

Respond appropriately worked out great for Syria, and Iran. They still have some hotel rooms free for dictators to come play Call of Duty.

    24. phantom-firion on

Actuslly this is good if Russia is “standing by” that’s means they are holding assets in reserve thst otherwise would be sent to Ukraine. So this is a win-win for us.

    25. -ram_the_manparts- on

You and what army? You’re importing soldiers from Venezuela lol

    26. Actual-Carpenter-90 on

The one sure thing that has come from the Ukrainian war is that the Russian army is nothing to fear.

    27. Slightly-Blasted on

Lmao they are losing to a country that they were supposed to run through in a week.

And they want to add in a conflict with the scariest military in the world? Yeah ok

    28. a_day_with_dave on

I’d take this threat very seriously. We don’t have any tractors on the open sea to stop them with.
