It’s amazing to me how many times we warned people like MTG that once you’re no longer useful to Donald Trump and other Republican men, you’ll be disarded.
My take is that she’s doing her own populist spin after being shut out from the MAGA inner sanctum. Her cleaving from mainstream ‚Republican‘ identity is an attempt to build her own brand so she can further her political career. It’s a lot like what Trump did in 2015 when he was staking his claim for the party leadership.
She’s found that rubbing the cardboard crotch of Trump still won’t get you a cabinet seat – So she’s going to make own claim to Republican identity to start her own movement.
And, despite all that, she’s still a horrible human and you shouldn’t fall for it.
