It seems that the quality of education all over is plummeting post-covid and the advent of smart phones.

Kids don’t read for leisure anymore, they can barely focus on more than a paragraph of text at a turn, and they seem incapable of calculating simple math problems out in their heads. I was in a shop the other day and when I paid with some small change the teenager behind the counter couldn’t count it all up. It’s incredible.
