Good. It’s the least he deserves but this process should have happened sooner.

I’m sure plenty of people will be complaining he’s not in prison, but regardless this has still been a funny process to watch because it’s become clear that the rumours that Charles hates Andrew are clearly true. Also, for what it’s worth this is about as strong a rebuke as Charles is allowed in his capacity as king.

The Buckingham palace statement is actually quite strongly worded

Can’t help but think William has been in his dad’s ear about this. Charles has been far too soft on his brother throughout this whole saga.

    5. Wondering if the idea is to remove all royal links so if / when he’s charged with something, he won’t be as an official royal.

I wonder how much of this could have been avoided if the Queen had let Andrew stay in the Navy and serve as his career. I can’t help but feel that making him give up his full time naval career was a huge mistake.

Something more is brewing here, I’m wondering if there’s more about to come out, plus there is the book that is about to be released, but I think there is more about to come out and the king is trying as hard as possible to distance him from the rest of the royal family so hopefully there won’t be as much blow back on them.

Remember: he will forever be on the dole of the public taxpayer. The lowest tier of cost, the better.

      Sandringham won’t be terribly pleased…

I feel sorry for the King. His brother has done something which at the absolute most charitable one could call absurdly stupid and probably far worse.

But he is also a financial burden on the King, who no doubt he was told to look after…can’t choose your relatives.

    10. I don’t understand how moving to sandingham, funded by King is somehow the better outcome? Can anyone explain?

Less than a fortnight ago everyone in the media was spewing the line that he could only have his Prince title stripped by an act of Parliament and they’re all too busy.

      We are constantly fed bullshit.

He’s going to be moved into a house on Sandringham Estate, funded by the King. This sounds to me like he’s being put in a box to be forgotten about and I hope that’s exactly what happens. I hope he dies a sad and lonely old man and has plenty of time to reflect on what he has done.

Can he lose a birthright title? It would be far funnier if he was an imprisoned prince. Maybe have use for the tower of London again, traditional.

It would be interesting to see 100 years into the future when the documents are unsealed and reveal how much money it took to pay Andrew off – because let’s be honest here, there’s no way he gave up Royal Lodge or anything else without an immense sum of money for a promise not to retaliate by blowing all the family secrets wide open.

Moving him to Sandringham doesn’t seem to be much of an improvement? I appreciate it says Charles is privately funding it, but how do we know this? We never really know what money is public or private with the Royal Family.

Can’t wait for Andrew Windsor to turn up in the Jungle and eat a monkeys dick

I’m confused why Charles will be funding whatever private accommodation the nonce moves into.

Again, they clearly think he did it so why are they not calling for charges? Jail him.

    19. You have to wonder what changed to suddenly make them push him off the ledge.

I’m curious what they know is coming out soon or could come out soon.

Either that or Chuckie has established himself as monarch and wants him further separated – guess we’ll find out at some point, we usually do.

Oh cool, now put him in prison. If my tax has to pay for this prick, I want it to go on prison meals.

    21. No change as far as I’m concerned as I’ve always been inclined to use other more colourful words to describe him.

    22. I don’t like the man and I certainly don’t believe he is innocent, but I find it a bit weird stripping him of ‚Prince‘. I mean, he literally is, its birthright? I don’t disagree he should lose his titles but I guess I just don’t understand the extent of this one. He is a royal, whether we want to title him that or not, and I think it is important his implicit status is still highlighted when we discuss his actions. Idk if I am making sense but removing him being a Prince feels like downplaying it somewhat.

    23. From 2nd in line to no longer a prince.

Mental. When was the last time this happened?

    24. Wonder if he’ll start a right wing grifter podcast ‘I’ve been cancelled’ probably get a multi pound Netflix show and rake in the money.
