      I never understood why people like it to be honest. I much prefer the Lebanese one (the one with milk and topped with pistachios).

      In South Africa and had some for lunch. Then I had some more.

      The rose water and rose syrup we have here is subpar though.

      There’s a great kafenes near Ayios Epifanios village that serves the best mahallepi I’ve eaten to date.

      I tried some from a church’s bakery. It looked like it sucked before I tried it, but some friends insisted I give it a shot. It sucked.
