      >When Miller, the architect of that response who is known for his inflammatory political rhetoric, announced a legal crackdown on liberal groups, he singled out the tactics that had victimized his family—what he called “**organized campaigns of dehumanization, vilification, posting peoples’ addresses**.”

      A. He’s know for more that his „inflammatory political rhetoric“.

      B. Pot, meet kettle

      > **It is an ominous marker of the nation’s polarization, to which the Trump administration has itself contributed**, that some of those top public servants have felt a need to separate themselves from the public.

      Merely contributed? Jesus Christ.

Getting ready for what they know is coming.

They’re bunkering. This is the political equivalent of assuming a hull-down position.

They know that they’re going to need the protection of thousands of soldiers and billions of dollars of weapons to protect them from the backlash of what they’re about to do. The billionaires are building their billion dollar survival bunkers everywhere, these guys are doing this…

      You can smell it coming.

      Martial law incoming.

Services need to remember their duty is to the country, constitution, people. Not a fucking dictator.

In an interesting twist, the GOP are more than willing to scare people and then they run to hide…kinda like cockroaches.

They’re waiting for trumps luxury super bunker to be built over the remains of the east wing to declare martial law.

Is this because of SNAP benefits running out or is this signaling potential land invasion of Venezuela?

Well if it wasn’t obvious to some people what they were planning, this should make it clear.

It’s easy to assume the worst here. So just remember – these are weak, angry little people who are SCARED. Good. This is not a warning of what they’re about to unleash…it’s just a sign of what cowards they are.

Do the corporates and the billionaires think they’ll do better under Trump dictatorship than „democracy“? That’s the key question b/c the corporates could bring the economy to it’s knees in response to a coup. But I have a feeling they fear progressive politics more than they fear dictatorship.

    10. They think they’ll be safe from the mob when the day comes. They won’t.

Because it’s much easier to run away from your problems than to face them

Another Cold War , or not so cold, with Trump wanting us to test nukes.

    13. Now these wealthy MAGAts are taking over free housing reserved for our military service members because they can’t face people’s anger over their destructive policies.

Those homes are paid for by us, the taxpayers. They are basically using our military bases for their own personal security.

Where are our military leaders supposed to find homes?

    14. If only there were some compiled list of everything that is happening that people could have read before the election. I don’t think that would be too difficult of a project to do

    15. Is the military even getting paid right now? If that’s the case, what incentive will they have to want to protect any of these people?

    16. This would be a brilliant move IF 1: they weren’t hated by most of the military. 2: they were currently paying the military. 3: had any intention of paying the military over the holiday season.

As it is, these morons are making moves they literally cannot afford to depend on. Because if they don’t re-open the government these soldiers remain unpaid and will want their asses just as bad as everyone else. And if trump finds someone willing to launch a nuke for free then military bases will be a bad place to hang out because I guarantee most them are on return fire lists.

I thought they did not need safe spaces. I thought they were tough and could not be intimidated.

When people get desperate, no amount of money will be able to buy enough security.

This will not end well for the USA. It’s a repeat of 1930s Germany. I just buried my 100+ yo US Army Dad after burying my 95 yo WW2 mom. You all have no clue what is about to happen.

Unless you are a constitutional officer (POTUS/VPOTUS) you should never be shielded from the public in any way, shape, or form.

You signed up for the role, you are a public servant and you should face the people for your actions good and bad.

    21. They still got 12 month till midterms, but probably enact it in 11.5 months. We going to be a frog slowly boiling (I know, frogs are smarter than us and will jump out).

    22. Silidistani on

… well, that should make it easier… 🤔

(once our military realizes upholding it’s Oath and serving these traitors are incompatible)

    23. While Americans struggle to make ends meet and find affordable housing, Republican traitors consume our military assets for their personal use. Evil conservative parasites.

    24. Because when they unleash the military on us they think they will be safe.

For a group who likes to do a lot of ‚tough‘ shit talking they sure are the biggest pussies this country has seen. They can’t stay there forever.
