The guy looks like he already got fucked up with what looks like blood all over his face, so I assume he is trying to get messages out before he dies. You can’t not hear these drones when they are that close.
Drone operators will have heavy ptsd or have already.

He was setting the white balance of the phone camera for the incoming last video.
Most likely he already noticed it. Those things are extremely loud, specially up close.
Looks like he was already wounded and trying to get one last message out before passing.
Messed up shit. Didn’t look armed either and reminded of that one comment that said „Ukrainians never kille unarmed soldiers, where’s your evidence?“
