      Reagan’s views on tariffs were more or less accurately reflected in the ad

      I’m in the US and have no idea why we are going to a trade war with our best pal and ally to the north. Dairy or something? What is the reason?

      The idea that fentanyl is coming from Canada is a joke, when the DEA says „oh yeah it’s from Mexico“

      I am in NZ. The US has gone a wee bit cuckoo. Trump wandering around in Japan, looking quite lost. He had to be gently coaxed back to the Japanese delegation. The disdainful behaviour and complete disregard for international protocols is beyond comprehension. I don’t know what’s in the water 💧 in Washington, but I am not going anywhere near.

      American here. Originally from NY near Niagara falls…we used to bounce back and forth to Canada all the time. Our relationship as countries was a huge part of my childhood.

      I can’t even begin to express how embarrassing this is. I hate this. I’m sorry.

      I think we’ve found a surefire way to get under Trump’s skin!

      Democrats need to start creating billboards and ads across the land quoting Reagan that directly opposes Trump’s core policies. There’s sooo many quotes about free trade, anti-tariffs, and immigration that directly contradict Trump’s policies.

      Reagan on protectionism and tariffs:
      >*Protectionism, I said, costs consumers billions of dollars, damages the overall economy, and destroys jobs.*

      Reagan on immigration during 1984 presidential debate:
      >*I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally.*

      Also Reagan on immigration:
