That’s a very flawed idea. You can’t determine who is Caucasian and who isn’t based on CHG, because no one has a 100% CHG result. These levels vary and are generally higher in some high-altitude regions of Georgia. Moreover, most Georgians also carry Byzantine ancestry. There’s also a close similarity between CHG and ZHG.
Secondly, during that historical period, there were no defined Georgian, Dagestani, or other established civilizations yet. Azerbaijanis are a mix of Iranian, Caucasian, Turkic, and indigenous South Caucasian elements. We share similarities with other Caucasian people’s such as clothing, cuisine, dance, and mentality but we’re not identical.
Think of us like Chile: just as Chileans have both native and European ancestry, we have Caucasian, Iranian, and Turkic roots.

Why you should give a fuck what they think about you?
It’s not like they get along with each other either. Gurculer, abxazlar, osetiya. Bu kicik dovlet mentalitetidir.
Everyone in Anatolia and Caucasia are mostly mixed with 83 (metaphorical number) other ethnic groups and people, I personally don’t understand neither side on this “Turkic vs Caucasian/Anatolian” fight of Turks, Azerbaijanis, Georgians, Armenians, etc. We aren’t pure Turkic, pure Caucasian, pure Aryan or pure anything. We are all just mixed a lot through the years and no one is pure nothing. Sure, some are very Turkic or Caucasian or Anatolian but if that mattered so much, everyone would take a DNA test and go to the place they genetically “belonged to”. World doesn’t revolve like that. You belong to where you were born and live, I think neither you or they shouldn’t care a lot about this genetics topic.
Also, since when a land fully and properly belong to any genetically related ethnic group because they are fully “native and indigenous” to there that it gives a right to that group to tell any outsider to either stay or leave?
