CIBC uses outsourcing for various functions, including IT, credit card processing, and cheque printing services for businesses. This practice has drawn public attention, particularly a 2017 incident where IT jobs were outsourced to India, leading to layoffs and customer complaints. CIBC’s CEO at the time explained the move as a way to manage demand, ensure round-the-clock work, and adapt to changing business needs, rather than solely to cut costs.

It’s not just youth but yes youth in particular.
The future is going to be incredibly technical and we need to make sure Canadians have the ability to get into education/training for this that doesn’t financially cripple them and that the opportunities are out there one they have that education/training.
I know this is going to trigger people but we need to look at nations like China and others who are leading in research and development of battery technology, renewable energy, and so forth.
There is a future and we want to be leaders in it, not followers, and most definitely not opponents.
I like to be an optimist and if we do things right now we might look back and say yes these next 5-10 years will be tough but could set us up massively for the future.
I rather not look back and say yes the 5-10 years were tough and now it’s going to get even tougher as we didn’t invest in becoming leaders in research and development and general technological progress.
We can’t just keep doubling down on being a resource colony and real estate bubble.

So that means the CIBC will be immediately funding massive youth programs and sports teams, after school clubs and raising the minimum wage in their banks to massive amounts…
right…?
Right…?
