      I’m not Armenian, but it’s one of my favorite places, i mean, it goes far beyond a nationalist glorification. Photos and stories can’t do justice to its grandeur; you have to see it with your own eyes. My expectations were low when I first went, but when I entered the city, it was like a slap in the face. Then there were the khachkars I saw at the Abrank monastery in Erzincan. My mind was blown.
