This seems very arbitrary. If you’re not picking the very highest areas, what are you trying to show?

pretty sure you can remove most o US midwest and the south and just include California
And if breaking down Europe by regions makes sense, then including eastern Germany, Andorra, San Marino while ignoring Scotland, Norway, Ireland makes no sense
