    1. ‚However, the Liberal House leader sounded more friendly to NDP Leader Don Davies. He told Barton he would not lump Davies in with the other opposition leaders because the NDP have been more constructive in their feedback.‘

The NDP have prioritized health, housing and union jobs. They are taking a wait and see position on the budget.

    2. NDP going to send us to an election without a party leader and no money. Good old NDP. Hard to admit I voted for them in two of the 3 federal elections I could vote in.

The government that can’t even negotiate a budget is the one that’s supposed to be negotiating with Trump. How can anyone reasonably expect them to get any deal with Trump that benefits Canadians?

If MacKinnon wants to talk about sacrifices then maybe he should make the wealthy and big businesses take some on instead of forcing regular Canadians to take them all on.

I don’t see why the LPC don’t work with other….reasonable, parties. The CPC are out, cut taxes, but keep the deficit under 42b is insanity but the bloc? Increase health transfers and housing, but tell them no on increasing OAS. It’s called compromise

    5. This is why Canada has been crumbling for years. We have all been begging for infrastructure investment, for housing investment, for energy investment for years. We finally have a PM and budget that is going to give us what we’ve been begging for and the opposition parties are going to throw it all away for nothing.

When people ask me why I’ve lost hope in Canada, this is exactly why.
