      Do they really though?? Any one with half a brain knows why. All the other people voted for him and are currently making excuses why that’s more important than SNAP benefits.

      They have 20% of the world’s lithium reserves. Watch for announcements by US mining companies. Also one of the world’s largest oil shale formations with huge untapped reserves. American taxpayers money being used for the benefit of billionaires.

      Easy to know why, billionaires bought into the „libertarian“ dream of Argentina and that dream is crashing and burning. Trump is doing all this so his billionaire friends can recoup their investment. Once they pull their money out, Argentina will be forgotten

      I really wish journalists actually reported the real motivations instead of just speculating as if it is not clearly known

      This in not going to end well for Argentina. They will be obligated to Trump now. What could the U.S. do with an extra $40 billion? Maybe healthcare or education?

      The moment he feels he’s about to be dumped or lose his position he’s going to be in Argentina and magically I’m guessing if they win their election, they may not send us Trump if we asked. He’s creating himself a backup plan. He views every tax dollar as his money and has been using it thusly.

      It’s because some of his rich billionaire friends don’t want to lose more money, and they bet on the Argentinian economy.
