      We need a unified front, and Trump is likely hoping to create internal dissent.

      Don’t let him do it. We control how we respond.

      We’ve been in a recession for 5 years now, and we have a PM calling for more sacrifices from everyday Canadians (not the rich, don’t worry they’ll be fine). This is madness.

      Edit: Liberals downvoting to all hell, why am I surprised. Yes, no official recession announced but living standards have markedly declined including per capita GDP.

      Is Trump the greatest thing the Liberals could ever wish for? We’ve been in a recession for over a year at this point and somehow they’ve escaped any blame for running the economy into the ground for years and managed to blame it all on a the US.

      Regardless of what Trump says…. Canada is their second largest trading partner.

      They can’t easily replace what they import from us, again despite what the POTUS says and they sell over $400 Billion to us each year.

      So he can huff and puff and add another 10% but he can’t not talk to Canada.

      I showed the manager at my local supermarket that his proudly Canadian display contained US inspected Campbell’s Soup. He had no clue.
